ADG Absolu reincarnate

Many people online had compared this 2026 release to the previously discontinued ADG Absolu that left retailers in 2023-2024, and they were absolutely right. It is almost a 1:1 of Absolu. The fruity woods are noticeable right from the start with the drydown retaining that similar Absolu masculinity and charm. If you did not like ADG Absolu, this is not the buy for you. At least sample it first. But for anyone who loved Absolu (like me), it is a welcomed relief to have that scent profile readily available again. This new release is a little more full bodied, has more depth to it, and overall just smells like an enhanced version of Absolu. Some may dislike the release for that reason, but this is a great addition to the ADG line after leaving behind Absolu years ago. There is no escaping the comparison. This release is a derivative, and improvement, of Absolu. I love it and am very happy to have it in my collection.

Amazing

I think this is the best Acqua Di Gio out right now. Very versatile, perfect for spring, summer, and fall. It projects strongly, but is not overpowering. It has that fresh ADG DNA layered with slight sweetness and woody notes. It hinges between being a younger male-oriented, everyday cologne, yet has mature profiles sprinkled in. I'd say it's similar to the new Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue EDP but not as citrusy. It's a cross between Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue EDP, YSL Y EDT, & Chanel De Bleu EDP.
