Amazing!

This press is the perfect size for our NY strips, they add just the right amount of weight to the surface. It covers an entire NY strip while the other one waits for its turn. Easy to clean after each use so I am so happy we own this press.

So handy

This is a must for evenly cooked and seared steaks! It makes the browning and crusts so easy to do, you can even use it on the stove too or the grill. Its easy to clean after as well.

Pressure less steak cooking

Weighted for those thicker cuts. Gives the desired search. Evenly distributed heat through the meat. The handle doesn't get hot so easy to handle. Easy to clean and no rust.

Flattens for even cooking

I received a complimentary BergHOFF Neo Cast Iron Bacon/Steak Press in exchange for my honest opinion. This press is 9” x 5” allowing it to be versatile. I have used it for making sandwiches, Bacon, Steak and many other items. I’ve used this on a griddle, the stove top, and the grill. It’s a well-made, solid, heavy duty tool that has a stay cool bamboo handle to prevent burning your hand. It’s perfect for flattening meat for even cooking and searing. It’s easy to clean up after use.

Stay cool handle

I have wanted a cat iron press forever. This press fits perfectly in my round medium cast iron pan and my round medium fry pans. At 3 1/2 pounds, it's an optimal weight for grilling a pressed sandwich or searing protein. The wooden handle not only adds beauty to the piece, it stays cool while using. The small waffle pattern on the press provides even pressure when searing so it will only make sear lines if I use it with my ridged grill pan. My favorite use is for creating a beautiful EVEN golden sear on chicken cutlets. Super easy to clean, I only hand wash it.

Steak Press

This cast iron slotted steak press is durable and heavy. It is 9” which is a good size to cover a larger steak. I used it to press seasonings into my steak. My husband also used it on the grill which turned out perfect.
