Defective and they won’t fix it

The handle is defective and doesn’t go down so I can’t use the bag. They won’t replace the bag or cover the cost to have it repaired. They want me to go through the warranty process to send me a part and have me purchase tools and watch a video to try and repair it myself. If it’s covered under warranty, they should be repairing it or replacing the bag, not expecting me to watch repair videos and purchasing the necessary tools to try and fix it myself. They are lying about the warranty and it’s very misleading, but don’t count on it if the bag is defective.
