Gorgeous but runs large

I knew getting the right size would be tricky but was assured that my usual size 10 would warrant a Medium. When it arrived, I first noticed the incredible color. When I put it on it felt more like a loose sweatshirt than sweater. The arms were about 8 inches longer than necessary but I'm only 5 ft tall. The length was also long on me. The arms are also wide all the way down. I ordered a Small and am still waiting for it. The material is definitely wool but is soft. It will provide way more warmth than my cotton sweaters. The collar can be adjusted to one's preference. I hope the Small will fit more trim on me. I really like this sweater.
