Not the best for warmer climates
I replaced my down blanket earlier this year with this comforter that listed it as medium weight. It was very warm and cozy during a cold blast in southern Florida which only lasted a week or two. The comforter was too hot after that. The other issue I've had is that it's hard to store. It's big and airy and you need a huge container to put it in. I'm still trying to find one. So if you're in a colder area and have storage space, this is a good buy.

I got this as an insert for my duvet cover, and I love it. I tend to be a hot sleeper, but I find this very comfy and feel like I'm under a cloud. Excellent quality for the price! Very pleased - highly recommend.

I’ve always slept with down comforters (Hotel Collection and Cuddledown) and suffered the allergic consequences but when it came time to replace my last one I decided to try down alternative. I was set on Hotel Collection but one was too thin and the other too thick. I live in MN and need something year round because I don’t swap seasonally like I should. I settled on this Charter Club Super Luxe down alternative and I am not disappointed. It might be a touch too thick for summer for some folks but I run cold so it will work fine. This comforter is super soft 300 thread count cotton and impressively well made - it stands up to both Cuddledown and Hotel Collection in terms of quality and craftsmanship. I wasn’t thrilled about the pattern but got over it as quickly as I got under it - it’s like sleeping in a cloud! It’s light and lofty and indeed luxe. No, it’s not quite the same as down but I’m impressed with how close it comes and not dealing with sneezing or feathers is awesome!

Very comfortable, was afraid at first that it would be too heavy, but it is not. However, since I live in California, it can be a bit too warm at time, it's all what you prefer of course. Some people are just always cold, so this is perfect for you. I like it, I do use it, but as stated it can be a bit too warm, I tend at times to take it off of me, while my partner wants it all over himself. I would recommend it.
