Fits my criteria

Love that this splatter screen has a folding handle…handy for storage. The super fine mesh catches the splatters, leaving my cook top cleaner. Dish washer safe. I only wish it wasn’t made in China.

Bacon and hamburger essential

Better than silicone

Our silicone splatter guards allow moisture to get trapped and create more splattering. This one doesn’t. It’s a nice cleanup! The handle flaps around when not locked open, which gets in the way when washing and storing.

Strong but insecure

Well and thoughtfully made, but some of the design features can actually interfere with the cover's functionality. For example, although the steel lip can help prevent splatter from beneath the rim, it works only if a pan's handle is set at least the depth of the lip below the edge of the pan. This is not always the case, as on classic cast iron skillets. It might be that a silicone rim would allow the lid to fit such pans more securely. On the plus side, the folding silicone handle facilitates both storage and cleaning the cover in the dishwasher. Overall, then, an improvement on the old splatter lids, yet still problematic.

Must Buy!

Love this splatter guard! No more grease explosions all over my kitchen. Fits multiple pans, super easy to clean, and even looks sleek. Total kitchen essential. It’s sturdy, well-made, and super easy to clean (dishwasher safe is a huge plus). The handle stays cool, and it even doubles as a strainer in a pinch. For such a simple tool, it makes a huge difference. If you cook often — especially things like bacon, burgers, or stir-fry — this is a must-have!
