disappointed

I received this Coach perfume as a gift from Macy's, but unfortunately, it arrived leaking and a large portion of the bottle is gone. Since it’s a gift, I don't have the receipt and I feel embarrassed to ask for it. Is there any way to exchange this defective bottle?
