9 diamonds missing

I fell inlove with this ring and purchased it for my best friend. I bought it in January when it came I must not have noticed it until het birthday came around in March. She said she loved it and then asked why therw were so many diamonds missing. I was so embarased giving her a present with such flaws. I will never buy online again.
