This is the men's 11 Western Waterproof Burly Brown Composite Toe Durango Maverick XP. This style features full-grain leather, a soft mesh lining, waterproof bootie construction and the Durango X-Pand System which is a hidden gore expansion on the inside medial seam for a universal fit and easy on/off. It also has the Durango X-Treme Comfort Footbed with memory foam for all day comfort and support and a fiberglass shank for lightweight stability. The midsole is dual-density with a firmer shock absorbing heel for added stability and a soft shock absorbing forepart for ultimate flexibility and comfort. The rolled shank area and anti-torsion rigid external shank provides added lateral stability, and the outsole is multi-durometer rubber with high abrasion outer lugs for high impact durability and softer durometer mid lugs for added flexibility and increased slip and oil resistance. It has a single row sole stich around the square toe for added durability and a 1 ½ rocker heel.

My carrier long boot of choice

On my second set of XP’s and forth set of Durango western style boots Speaking on behalf of the XP I worked at a chemical plant where I was on my feet 12 hours a day, walking 5+ miles a day around the factory and was constantly in or around chemicals and these boots never split nor cracked. They are by far the comfiest work boot I’ve been in. What really sold me was I really didn’t need a “break” in period , it was immediate comfort. These XP’s may very well be the only boot wear for the rest of my carrier.

Great boots but can get hot.

I have worn these boots 4-6 days a week, 12 hours a day, for a year now and the durability and comfort is excellent. Many of my previous boots I have worn do not last. I am ordering my second pair soon just to have on hand for when theses finally wear out. They fit perfect right out of the box. There was no break in period for me like other brands have had. The only reason I do not give theses a five star is because when wearing them for long periods of time, they tend to get hot. The only thing I would change would be have theses with some type of vent on them.

Extremely comfortable

I've had 3 pairs of maverick pros. Switch to these and haven't looked back. These have got to be the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. From time I wake till bed they are on my feet. Waterproof and breathable boots that you can't beat.

Best boot I have ever bought
