I was so excited to try the New Double wear Foundation and was completely disappointed in that it did not stay on and separated after a few hours. It was not as blendable as I expected. Returned it. I hope they will not due away with the original.

I have used Estee Double Wear foundation since it first came out and absolutely loved it. I was excited to try the new Double Wear formula. Soooo disapointed, the colors are darker and turn orange after a few hours. It does not make the skin look smooth and flawles like the old one and gets greasy. Please Estee don't discontinue the original formula!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a loyal Estee Lauder foundation fan for 20+ years, and this new version is terrible! I tried the new bottle for the first time today and my skin looks ORANGE and DULL. Same color as I have purchased for years - 2C1 Pure Beige. I am so disappointed! I will have to change to another brand, this is awful. Why would Estee Lauder change their most popular foundation formula? Really a bad move!

I’ve been using this foundation for over a decade. The recent change to this formula is awful. It no longer lasts all day, even though the claim is that it should last longer. It’s much more runny and you have to use more product and it still doesn’t give the same coverage. It also no longer controls my oil and my makeup looks broken apart. Lastly, though I purchased the same shade that I have always used, this color is not the same and is more orange. Please switch back to the old formula!

I bought and started using the new formulated double wear foundation just this week and only realized the difference because my face looked more tired by night time and when i deep kissed my partner, his nose was brown (my foundation completely rubbed off unto him) and I never had this issue before with the former foundation. My skin doesn’t look better all day long like it use too. I thought it was just my lack of sleep but I’ve been sleeping more, so it’s the new formula not meshing with my skin like the older one did. This saddens me.
Disappointment
This foundation is a dream to blend and offers light-to-medium coverage. Overall it is a water-down version of the old formula. The coverage is significantly reduced. It also oxidizes big time. My drugstore foundations or products much cheaper than this perform much better. Yet, this new version is more comfortable to wear and it is very long lasting. At any way, I will need to find a different foundation.
