Hot exterior

The toaster works great, but the exterior gets extremely hot. Not a good choice if you have small children.

Smells really bad fresh out of box

It smelled terrible like burnt plastic the first six or so times I used it fresh out of the box. Now it emits less odor, but I am miffed I had to run it several times outside before I could even think of bringing it into the apartment. Yes I checked it for packaging debris before running it and no there was nothing contacting the heating elements. I didn’t expect perfection out of the box but the smell was honestly startling.

Not Quality Toaster

I bought this toaster based on reviews. I did not want a cheap inferior quality toaster. I thought I was getting quality. We have had the toaster 6 days. From day 1 it has not toasted evenly. One side is perfectly toasted and the other half done. This is not quality! This toaster also takes a long time to toast. We could live with that if the toaster toasted evenly. I feel that I have wasted my money. I think that I even have to pay to return this toaster for another one!

Sturdy nd functional

Very nice toaster. The toast is evenly toasted. The appliance is sturdy. I bought this one to replace a broken cuisinart. I believe this toaster is sturdier nd works more efficiently

True Settings

This is a nice large slot toaster. It makes great toast with it's settings pretty true. The only issue I have with it is the push down handle, which seems to be an afterthought to an otherwise well designed appliance.
