leaks

this kettle leaks out the back essentially from our the "on" button. it's very weird, and such a disappointment from a well-known brand. look elsewhere.

blows out the circuit

THis kettle has to go back. Could not heat water and blew out entire circuit for the kitchen appliances as well as safety buttons on outlets.

Only Heats Water

I misread the description and thought I could heat coffee and tea in this cute little kettle. The kettle is to be used only to heat water. I am returning it unused. Since I did not use it, I cannot honestly recommend it to a friend.
