Excellent for guided instruction and independent practice
This Alphabet Word Work-Small Group set is perfect for homeschool class rooms, co ops, and moms with multiple children. I homeschool my young children who very close in age as well as my nieces. This set is on par with most of their age groups and is great for the more advanced students as well. I like that it comes with 6 individual trays, and each student had their own set of letters and activity cards. This set is durable and the magnetic letters help keep everything locked in on the tray. The cards are dry erase marker friendly, so answers can easily be wiped away for plenty of practice. I like how each set of letters is a different color corresponding with each tray, this helps keep everything organized. This set is a perfect educational tool for early learning and literacy skills. The activities focus on matter recognition, phonics, and work building. I recommend this product for both manipulative guided instruction and independent learning.

Great tool for Small Group!
I used this kit to help my daughter and niece strengthen reading skills. I was trained to use UFLI in my graduate program. This kit has the potential to show the same progress and gain with new and young readers. We love it!

Alphabet Word Work, Small Group Set
The Alphabet Word Work was packaged very nicely when it arrived. My first thought was how heavy the box was after taking it out of its package. I think the different colored trays might be just too much. I like the different colored letters and different colored charts. With so many trays it's a waste of plastic and takes up a lot of space. Maybe a rainbow colored tray would have worked perfectly fine and would have taken less space and use of plastic. More options of charts would have been great too.

Super fun and educational
I really love the set up and the activities that come with this set. There's endless possibilities to help your child learn their letters, how to spell, how to read, and more with this set. My daughter loved the different colors to choose from and she spent hours spelling words the first day we got it. My only complaints is some of the magnets lost their tiles shortly after opening the package, with a toddler also in the house I was concerned she could swallow one if I didn't see where it landed. Another thing I'd love to see with this set is some sort of rubber or felt feet on the bottom of the tray. If your child is playing with this on a table, it will slide around easily and is very noisy when it does. Overall it is a great resource for children to practice letters and phonics And we will be using it a lot! (I received this item in exchange for my honest review)

The perfect learning tool!
This is the perfect learning tool for kids learning to read and spell! It's easy to use, easy to wipe clean, and the kids have LOVED using it! They ask to play with it even after the lesson is over. It's great for group learning led by an educator but also for independent review by the child.

Great learning resource!
I have 2 autistic 5 year olds who are nonverbal. I am currently homeschooling them and this has been added to our treasure chest of helpful tools! They are both very interested in the alphabet and having the separate trays and colors, makes for a fun sorting activity too! There are so many ways to use this product and I am thrilled to have received it. I love that the trays are magnetic white boards - brilliant!! I think the one thing that I would change would be to have a backing so the magnetic pieces don't pop out and get swallowed - they are very well made so maybe that's not an issue anyways!
