Diappointed
I brought this bag a few years ago and on my second trip, American Airlines damaged my bag and said they would not repair it. After talking to Hartmann agreed to have one the shops to repair it, but I was not happy about the repair. However Hartman said this was the best they could do.Now it's one of the most expensive things that sits in my closet because I'm unable to use it, afraid it will even get more damage than it is now. What shame I’m afraid to use a great bag and Hartmann and it's people can help me so I would good traveling with such an expensive bag or the Roll-Royce of luggage. bag because of it not able to handle the wear and tear! I love Hartman but this bag and it's people can't hel me. things in my closet that I can't use. I love Hartmann tweed but very disappointed that I'm afraid to use

Not the same quaility as before
I purchased this 1 month ago for a trip to Europe that I just completed. My previous Hartmann garment bag lasted over 30 years and through many, many trips, including military deployments. I was hoping this new bag would be the same, but alas, I was mistaken. It's a struggle trying to zip the suitcase closed. The zipper pulls closing the interior cover are so close to that outer zipper, that they get caught. I should not have such difficulties zipping it closed, even when it's empty. I would not purchase this again.

My husband loves Hartmann tweed luggage For me is too heavy and too expensive!!! But he will the one using and he loved this mid sized one for jackets and pants!
