Smells horrible

I wanted to live this powder but unfortunately I’m taking it back to Macys. The first time I tried it I thought the brush included was the cause of the smell. I tried it again using a brand new brush and resulted in the same. The powder has a strange smell. I’m taking it back.

Compact appears to have been opened

This is a high-end designer makeup product, Chanel. I ordered two of these powder compacts to give as Christmas gifts to my daughters. When I received the package and opened the box, one of the Chanel compact boxes was already opened. I thought I better inspect the compact, and when I opened the compact there was powder dust all over the inside of the compact and the mirror. Super disappointed. Macy’s is not what it used to be and I just don’t understand it. Where is the quality control? Who is tampering with the Chanel powder compact that’s sending that to customers? This is ridiculous. *I wrote a disappointing review regarding a handbag I returned a couple of months ago. Once again, the quality control is missing.
