WORST PILLOW EVER
For many years, I have been pleased with Macy's Hotel Collection bedding for its high quality and luxury. I believed this pillow would be the answer to a great night's sleep. My Tempur-Pedic foam pillow has served me for a long time, offering support and comfort. I was hopeful that I could achieve a custom fit, due to the three adjustable (removable) foam pieces. The pillow and cover are extremely well made; however, the pillow feels like a large slab of rock and is not comfortable, even when removing the middle layer. I cannot imagine any person -- even those who prefer firm support -- would like this pillow. It's a huge "NO!" for me.
Too tough
Not at all comfortable
Adjustable but extremely firm
The pillow is very firm. So being adjustable doesn't help much. There are three layers: using all three makes the pillow far too large (since it's firm there's hardly any give). Using two is okay, and using one is too small. Good concept but I think they need a curve in the pillow to nest your head and support neck if it's going to be that firm.

Too firm
It's a very firm pillow. Don't expect to sink into it at all and if you're small or medium framed, you'll want to take out the middle layer. At the regular price, you're better off paying the same money for a pillow from the mattress brand that starts with a T. Macy's sells those too. At a sale price, well, if you like a very firm pillow then maybe you'll like this one. I ultimately bought the T brand.
Sleeping on clouds
Really soft once I got it and I put it on my bed it felt so soft and comfortable. It fit perfectly on my queen size bed.

Amazing Pillows for Men
I purchased 2 of the King Size Adjustable Layer Pillows for my husband and me. After using it once, my husband said it was the first time in a long time that he didn't wake up with a headache; he did remove 1 of the inserts and 2 weeks later still loves his pillow. I tried it but it was too hard and too high for me, even after adjusting, so I gave it my son. After using it once, my son said it was the first time in years that he didn't wake up with neck pain and weeks later still loves it. I think this pillow is more suited for men who tend to have broad shoulders. I gave it 5 stars because my guys are both pain free, the pillows are still firm and perfect for them.
