Leather strap broke after 6 months

After using this bag, maybe 10 times after getting it for Christmas, the piece of leather attaching the shoulder strap to the bag ripped in half. I’m not sure if this is just an anomaly, but the quality obviously is subpar or I got a defective bag.

Pure class

I've been looking for a top-quality leather briefcase for years, and finally found this about 6 months ago. My last briefcase. Beautiful quality, screams "class," and if you're into the real leather smell, this is it. Could not be happier.

Where are the pen loops?

Where in the front pocket are the three pen loops? Good briefcase otherwise just not described completely accurately on the website.
