Macy’s lost a customer

This review is on Macys, not this bag. I bought this bag online. It’s a fine bag, but it is much bigger in real life than the picture of the model holding the bag. I don’t need another bag this big so i attempted to return the bag at my local Macys and they wouldn’t allow a return because it was outside of the 30 days. Ok. That is on me that I didn’t read the return policy, but when I asked if there was anything they could do (store credit/gift card), they said “no, there was nothing they could do”! I bought the bag on sale (thankfully), however they could’ve sold it at full price, but instead, they opted to lose my future business. Yes, it’s on me that I didn’t read the fine print return policy, but I have never been outside a return window where a store didn’t offer a store credit or gift card.
