Disappointed as can be.

I have bought these towels for over 20 years. They have always been my favorite. In spite of the "starter towel" description they were phenomenal towels & no other towel could compare. As soon as pretty colors were in stock I would buy many sets. New colors were in so I bought 2 sets. Definitely not what they used to be. The pile is much shorter & the dense feel is different. I was so disappointed. I am sending one set back & giving the open set away. Alas I will have to look elsewhere for my new favorite towel after all these years. Thankfully I have a couple sets unused, still in the package from previous purchases to get me through until I find some.

Get rid of the decorative strips at each end!

These are fairly absorbent but I really don’t like the two decorative stripes at both ends. They totally interfere with your ability to dry your hands. Why? They take up a significant amount of space right where you need to be able to grab them to dry your hands. Totally infuriating and worthless towel. Will not buy another towel like this again.

Nice towel until it is washed

I bought the hand towel in fresh olive. After the second washing, one side of the stitching on the towel came completely apart...now the towel looks like it is worn out. Since I have washed it, I will have to keep it, but was disappointed in the quality.

Lint, lint and more lint

I've bought these towels for years and was always pleased with their long-lasting quality. This last sent of towels arrived and seemed extra soft, not a bad thing UNTIL I washed them. So much lint! I'm on my 4th washing and still have to stop the dryer halfway through to empty the lint trap so the piles of lint from these towels don't impede drying of the load. The towels also leave lint on your skin as is obvious when you apply lotion after using them. Can't imagine the towels will last very long with all the shedding. Very disappointed in the change.
