Lara Chiffon Gown

This dress is stunning and the quality is exceptional. The reasons I am giving it 3 stars - 1. the zipper is hard to zip. It sticks. 2. It DOES NOT run true to size. I measured myself before ordering after I read the one and only review at the time. My bust at the fullest measures 35 inches (I wear a 32 D bra), waist 28 and hips 39. I am ordinarily a size 6 Petite or a 4 regular. I ordered the size 6. It fit perfectly through the waist and hips but I could not get the back zipped all the way over my back and shoulders. I have narrow shoulders. I am exchanging the 6 for an 8 and hoping/praying it fits. It is such a pretty dress and it would be perfect for my son's wedding in May. It is very long as shown on the model. I will need to have it professionally hemmed.

Measure before you buy

This dress had very high quality. However, since I didn’t check the size guide before I purchased it, it didn’t fit. After I tried it on, I checked the size guide. Based on that and my measurements, I needed a size 12, a size 10, and a size 8 depending upon which part of my body I measured. Measure before you buy.
