Downgrade from original

The gold was chipped when it arrived. Quality changed majorly. I own several pieces that are bone China and I wanted to add to my collection but it was porcelain and poorly made.

Quality

First, I liked the fact that Macy's did not make me wait a month to receive this purchase. I had ordered it from another source and it sat in a mail facility for 2 weeks when the facility was only 30 miles from my home. But the product is what I expected, in Lenox products--quality and American made. Oh, and I purchased it at a better cost than the previous store.

Elegant

These are elegant. I normally lean towards the white & platinum trim plates. I got these because I bought the Quinlan Accent plate. I didn't realize they were gold trim. So i needed a simple dinner plate with gold trim to match the Quinlan plates. This fit the bill. Looks good.
