Service completion

I had needed to compete my service for 12 and ordered the missing pieces from Lenox directly. BUT the order arrived with 2 of the 4 teacups broken. I reordered the 2 cups from Macys and they arrived in shorter time and not broken. Thank you.

Matching old Solitaire China from 2000

I wanted to add to my Lenox Solitaire from 2001 but wanted the new dishwasher safe and lead safe version. Worried it would not match. I will say it is extremely close. You would only be able to tell by taking a plate and inspecting it closely in a side by side comparison. As a table setting or even set up for a buffet you wouldn’t know there is a 20 year difference in the dishes. Color and size are a 99% match if not more. Very pleased and happy knowing this is the newer improved durability and lead safe version. Classy and beautiful

Lenox Solitaire Dinner Plate

The replacement plate matches my 50 year-old set perfectly. It is timeless, and I love it. The simplicity of the plate goes with anything and everything. I also put it in the dishwasher.

This plate does not match my other 11 Lenox solitaire dinner plates. The platinum rim is different.

An exceptional level of quality and service so far

I was not expecting the level of care and quality these settings present. From the very opening of the box until the last element had been set the intention of craftsmanship was palpable, almost a breath. The box did not include unwarranted packaging peanuts, it held minimal yet precise safeguards to keep the setting pristine from this meal to its last in an impressive, striking bawdy, show of shelter. The pieces themselves are strong and feminine at once. I was intimidated by them at once and am still feeling humbled in ownership. Doubly so as they include a card reminding a new owner to register them at once - they will be replaced even if someone such as I should be so clumsy as to break one. The silver edge shines bright and more mesmerizing than a catalog could inspire in a faraway eye.

Gorgeous, But Heavy

As a huge fan of Lenox’s collection (we’ve been using them since before the 2000s!), I was super delighted to receive this gorgeous set to review. The polish finish gives it such a luxurious vibe, making the food that sits on top feel like a classy piece of art. This is also the first time using a plate set that has a design on it; we usually only get the plain white plate sets because they are very simple and makes the food attractive to eat. If there is one downside, a.k.a. the reason why a star was docked, it is that these plates are incredibly heavy. I understand Lenox wants to give a luxurious feel to it and making it light would make it come off as flimsy, but because of the heaviness of it, I may have to reserve these plates for more holiday/special occasion uses because they are not of a comfortable weight to use on a daily basis, especially when you factor in making meals. Overall, if you do not mind the hefty weight, I highly recommend this set as Lenox never disappoints.
