STRONG CHEMICAL ODOR

Nice hat, BUT very strong & bitter odor from chemical ( s ) used either in dye or manufacture processing wash or both. does not wash out nor be reduced even washing/soaking in vinegar & laundry detergent. even a Levis company store said this is normal, and just have to tolerate if want to wear. the black color is the worse over the blue denim.
