Pretty but does not hold up well

I loved that this had a little embroidered Christmas on it because we typically just love Christmas year round. I got the L/Xl because I like bathrobes oversized- and the size was more than generous. However, when I went to wash it the first time, and I decided to do it on delicate washables and cold, as the instructions did say to do it on cold, but even with that once I put it in the dryer on very low, it still came out with a lot of threads hanging off of it and that was incredibly disappointing. Perhaps it won’t happen that way the second time I wash it, but I’ve had robes that I’ve purchased in Italy from beautiful hotels that we stay at, that have lasted several years with no issues whatsoever.
