Completely Wrong Item Shipped
My review is NOT about the item, but more of a reminder that if you are purchasing something for a very specific event (ex. a trip) be sure to buy well in advance. Macy's can make major shipping mistakes as they did with my order. Unclear how this happened, but it did. Purchased for a trip and what was shipped wasn't even close to the item. Ordered a nice black wool coat, received a pair of maybe pajamas. (I didn't even bother opening it). Looked like someone returned the item with the wrong barcode (return fraud anyone)? Fortunately customer service immediately refunded me and gave me a shipping label to return. However, I'm out a coat now and scrambling to find one before I head into wintery Boston this week. Macys - please review your shipping/receiving processes!!! Thank you.
