Over two decades in and around the barnyard has taught us a thing or two about the type of materials needed in our footwear to stand up to the Acidic and Alkali elements found in and around barns. We have had success in using the rubber and neoprene found in the majority of our line, but we wanted to offer an alternative as well. So we pushed our design team to find a leather solution that holds up to our 100% MUCKPROOF standards and after years of experimentation we are proud to now offer a new Barn Leather Collection of boots that hold up to our high standards of quality and protection. The leather in these boots is not only Barnyard Proof but also resistant to fire and lime while being 100% waterproof. The outsole stands up to oil, gas and diesel fuel while being slip resistant on hard flat surfaces. All this while being supportive and comfortable as we wrapped all this technology around a footbed designed like the bucket seat of a pickup truck.

Perfect addition to my "Muck" wear

Perfect fit, true to size. Well constructed. Reasonably priced. Great addition to my full-length "Mucks" when I have a quick chore that does not require them.

Nice well built comfortable shoes

I bought these for mechanic chores, and yard work. They do not disappoint. They are warm in the cold weather, and are comfortable after a short break-in. You do need to use the pull band on the back to get them on which is ok, because the snug fit keeps your feet from sliding around and getting blisters. I do think these are going to be long lasting. Well worth the investment.

Best work boot I've owned.

First off Muck is the only brand with a true wide option that fits comfortably. This is the third pair over the past 4 years I have purchased. The boot is well built, water proof and feels even better with age. I have a family farm and I wear these every day, I highly recommend you get yourself a pair.

Thinner than the other boots :-(

I have two other Muck boots, I think my first pair is called the Alpine Pro Mid and my latest pair is called the Apex Mid Zip Ankle Boot, and both of them fit me perfectly at size 11. So, one would think it would be safe to order any other boot from Muck Boots in the same size. Well, not so much. I have only worn this new pair around the house for a week or so, but so far, they are not wide enough for my feet and it's really irritating. How hard is it to make a boot the same size as your other boots? Buyer beware, these boots look really nice. And I'm hoping I can wear them this spring with a real thin sock, but I shouldn't have to :-(.

Perfect barn boot.

These boots fit perfectly and were comfortable from the first time I put them on. The bootstraps make putting them on fast and easy. They are rugged yet look great and clean up easily. They're a great value too!
