It's what I wanted and needed but...

It's what I was looking for in style and color and I am ultimately totally pleased with it. Unfortunately with the first unit there was a hairline crack on the bottom support panel that was visible on both sides of the panel meaning it likely went through the whole piece and with too much weight (dinnerware) might give way. In addition, the finish was visibly chipped on the front door. Customer service was great in replacing the unit but of course didn't want the first one back. We put it together anyway and added a cross piece to the underside of the cracked panel and gave it to Habitat. Both units were moderately challenging to assemble. I would recommend it with reservations.

Step up from IKEA

Was very excited for this piece and ended up shipping it back. The connector pieces were stripped, pieces of wood all different sizes and not lining up… it was actually really disappointing. Because all the reviews have been good, we decided to try one more time and hopefully fingers crossed, we will have the same experience everyone else did.
