Cake Stand is the wrong color

I know that pottery can change colors every few years. This white china cake stand is noticeably greyer than the rest of the Italian Countryside I purchased a few years ago. If you had just started a collection, I am sure it would be a nice match.

Mikasa manufactures junk

Mikasa not the brand it used to be. The cake plate arruved with a sticky, dirty film all over it. I put it in the dishwasher (its supposed to be dishwashwr safe!) When i took it out the ceramic trim piece fell off. For those of us who have been collecting Italian Countryside for years, youll notice the quality difference. Don't bother buying this nunk.

Poor quality

The detailing was lighter in areas then others, and there were rough edges.

Cheaply made heavy trash

It has broken 5 times of use. I use it twice an year and stored it in the cabinet (didn’t put anything on it) and washed only with hand. And it is broken while I carefully cut the 9” cake on it. Cardboard cake stand is stronger than this. I wish I could give it 0 star. Usually I don’t leave review but I don’t want anyone waste their money for the trash. Even it is too heavy to throw away.

Met/exceeded Expectations.

As presented, the pieces are substantial in weight as desired. Colors as depicted on line did not quite meet expectations and are basically black and light brown without any orange tones, but for us that was ok. Overall very pleased with the purchase as they add a nice dimension to our daily living
