Modern fit is for very wide shoulders

Coat is nice, well made, nice color combo, well tailored for many occasions. However, it has built in shoulder pads that cannot be removed. Shoulder sizing was very wide maybe for the modern fit. It didnt look good on me, I have a slimmer build so I did return it. I did order 2 more sizes hoping one actually does fit well. I am 5’9, 160 lbs and the R (Regular) is still my best fit. Please note the S stands for 5’7 and under (short)

Elegant, nicely designed coat

We bought this coat for my 22 year old son. It elevated his look from a college student to a young professional. The fabric is very good quality, plaid design makes it elegant, and the wool content keeps him warm. Everyday my son comments about how much he likes this coat.
