Basic in every way

Good quality construction, solid material. Only has the one external pocket, and a laptop sleeve inside. Zippers are kind of a pain to move and open, might need breaking in. Like a good, but rather expensive, rubber Jansport. If that’s what you like, buy it hands down. If you like a place to hang a pen because we’ve landed on the moon as a species and we deserve a treat, skip it.

Do not buy from Bloomingdales!

The zipper on my Rains backpack broke after one year. Rains would have replaced it if I had bought it directly from them. Bloomingdales said that I was not entitled to a warranty and offered nothing. Do not buy from them! The backpack is nice, but clearly not well made.
