mostly waterproof

The manufacturer did not tape (waterproof) the seams for the pockets. In a light rain, it doesn't matter so much, but if the rain is heavier, water seeps through the seam lines to the interior.

Somehow still got soaked …

The first and only time I wore this jacket, rain seeped into the seams where the hood attaches, and got my neck/shoulders wet. It also is poorly designed and the rain drips into your face, and worst of all within 10 seconds of walking outside the rain dripped off the end of the jacket and soaked through my jeans and got my thighs soaked. It’s cute and fits nice so i was really hoping I would like it. It’s going back.

The Best Rain Jacket

I have owned several raincoats/jackets over the years and this is absolutely the best. It is better than my Helly Hansen that I replaced with this coat. It is heavy enough without it feeling bulky or weighing you down. It is 100% waterproof NOT water resistant, therefore, it keeps you completely dry. The hood is lightly lined and you can adjust it so it stays in place. I am 5'8 and a true size 10/medium but like my jackets a bit roomy; I ordered a large and it fits perfectly. The length is a bit longer than your typical jacket but not too long where it feels like a coat vs. a jacket. I was lucky enough to get this on sale for half price but it is so well made, I would have paid full price.

Very nice raincoat but runs very large!

This was a very nice raincoat. Nice color and lots of pockets. I ordered a medium since i like some room for a sweater underneath. But thus jacket runs way large. Im 5'3", 135 lbs and could have ordered 2 sizes down. I had to return it.
