Latch is terrible

I bought this in preparation for our new baby and to separate our dogs space. The latch either does not lock or locks and even myself and spouse cannot open. It is over the return time to the store so was a waste of money. Do not recommend this product

Super baby gate!

We switched out our previous baby gate with this one and wow! What a difference. We placed it at the top of the stairs to our basement which we always forget to close but not with this gate. It automatically closes, so when I have things in my hands I can hear it shut on its own behind me. The worst feeling is not remembering if you closed a gate and thinking your kid is going to come tumbling down. We really like this gate, it was easy to put up and our almost 2yr old has not figured out how to open it.

LOVE it!

This is great, I love the auto-close feature as well as the tabs at the bottom to keep the door open or swinging a certain direction. Easy to install, only wish it came in a wide-width door size or that the wide doorway gate had an auto-close feature. Buttons to open and close are really easy as well.

Broke after 4 months of use.

worked great for 4 months , bought it because of the auto close. All of a sudden the button on top broke , and now will not close.

Best gate I've purchased

This gate is the best I've found. Installation was a breeze and I love that the gate closes automatically. Very helpful when carrying my daughter through the house.

I would not buy this gate again

The gate was easy to install, closes behind pretty quick to keep baby out. However after about a week the top button broke making it very difficult to open one handed. I have to push the button down with 2 hangs squeeze the bottom button and shake the gate up and down till it opens. Not very helpful when you have a sleeping baby in your arms and you want to take them to bed.
