Tall and wide; the latch disappoints over time!

The latch is the weak point - it lasted about two years before the plastic guts broke and we had to purchase a new gate. It's the only gate we've found that's wide and tall enough to keep our pets on the correct side of it and it's easy to install so we're fans, but would like better quality and durability on the latch mechanism.

Made Differently, not happy.

I just received 3 of these gates and the gates are poorly made. These unlatch way too easy, my last one felt like the handle was hard to open and the ones I just got makes it feel it is made out if cheap plastic. I was using these to keep my autistic grandchildren safely in their rooms but now I am not so sure if I want to keep them

Great Product will buy again

Love the look of this gate. Did a lot of research and most were big and bulky. I have narrow halls so did not want something that was huge. Easy to install and remove if needed.

beautiful, effective & easy to instal

I love this gate, it was easy to put together and install in our wide doorway. My son on the other hand hates it as he can no longer play with the french doors where this gate is placed. But it keeps him from getting into the cat's food and litter box area and other areas we don't want him getting to for safety reasons (stairs, exterior door, basement door, etc).

Worst gate in the house

I don't like this gate because it doesn't latch on its own when closed. All my other gates will swing shut and latch on their own. It's also difficult to open and shut. This won't work for anyone that has multiple children in the home because the older children leave it open if it doesn't latch by itself. This was also the most expensive gate we have! It looks pretty but it does not function the way you need it to.

Love this gate

This a a great gate for stairs or just blocking off certain rooms...it's very hard to climb even at an older age because there's really no way to push up over it. As they get older they can learn how to open it but that's about it....I LOVE IT

Not a long lasting item

I have bought two of these and both locks broke after a year of usage. I was looking to replace these locks, but couldn't find replacement locks anywhere.
