I purchased two of these UPLIFT Hardside Large Spinners. One of these has only been on six total flights, and already has the rubber hinge reinforcement detaching (see photos). I do not see any other obvious rough treatment of the bag. Beware that there may be some sort of flaw in this bags design.

I purchased this Samsonite luggage from Macy’s in October 2024 and used it for the first time in December 2024. I only used it again in December 2025 for my second trip, and by the end of that trip it was already broken. For a brand that is supposed to be durable and reliable, this was extremely disappointing. I called Macy’s customer service to inform them of what happened. The luggage broke while I’m still in the airport. I had to leave the luggage in the country . I can let roll it because the wheels are gone. The Macy’s representative told me she would send an email request for a refund. Unfortunately, it has now been two months and I have not heard anything back. A suitcase that breaks after only two uses is unacceptable. This product clearly did not last and was a waste of money. I expected much better quality from Samsonite. I would not recommend buying this luggage.

Don’t buy!
Used about 3 times and while pulling it behind me the handle came off! Contacted Samsonite and they wouldn’t cover damage. Their warranty is a joke. The design of the suite case where the handle is on the outside is horrible.

This carryon feels cheap and easily broken. Definitely not worth the price

Bag hinge failed during first trip. The hinge is stitched to the bag and broke along one of the stitch lines.
