The material these pillow protectors are made from is incredibly stiff and uncomfortable. I only opened one package of the four I purchased and will be returning the others. I ran it through the wash (with fabric softener) hoping to make them workable, but no such luck.I have different cooling pillow case protectors from Sealy that I love but need to replace, and I haven't been able to find them anywhere.

The pillowcase is nicely made but it doesn't really keep the pillow as cool as it should. The zipper is a good feature and the cotton is nice and crisp. It will keep the pillow protected.Doed

I generally have nothing but positive comments to make about these pillow protectors. I have purchased them several times. On this occasion, I was in a rush when they arrived so I quickly unwrapped them and threw them into the washing machine. As usual, when they dried I folded them and put them away with other linens. Since I had ordered 4 king size protectors, you can imagine my surprise today when these pillow protectors were way too small for my king size pillows. They were for queen size pillows. At this point I cannot exchange them because I have thrown away the package and laundered them. If you order these pillow protectors, be sure they send you the size you ordered so you don’t end up in my situation with pillow protectors that do not fit your pillows.
