Can't recommend, especially for beginners

I am very experienced with serger sewing machine, but this is definitely not for beginners. Mine was not pre-threaded as stated, and it was difficult to thread. It is very noisy as well. I will be returning and buying one that works for me. I really hate it, because Singer was always a good name brand, but I'm not so sure anymore.

No manuals!!!

Extremely difficult to thread and Singer sewing machines do not come with a manual which makes everything completely impossible to do and use going online does not work for most people I will not buy a Singer sewing machine again! This machine sounds like a tank when you run it good thing I know how to use a surging machine cuz this is not for beginners!

On this serger you will find the threading assistance under the front cover when you open it to thread the machine.

Not pre-threaded like the description says. Also doesn’t include thread. Please change your false advertising.

Good serger

I never worked with a serger. This is my first one. I was scared about threading it. After checking the online manual and watching some videos on YouTube, I was able to thread it correctly and it works very well now. This serger is not noisy at all. It works smoothly. I still have to learn how to use different stitches styles. But so far it is amazing me.

Impossible to thread, zero instructions included.

Impossible to thread.... I need a PhD zero instructions other than pictures. I can't get my fingers OR tweezers in to thread nor is there enough light. WORST PURCHASE EVER. feel I threw money away. I've been sewing and used singer products for 25 plus years...

I love it !

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am very satisfied with my overlock machine. I had no prior experience with this type of machine and found it very easy to use. I still have a bit of difficulty getting it to operate at the lower speed. Since I lack experience, I still can't position the fabric so that the seam ends up exactly where I want it. It would be good if there were a way to activate some sort of low-speed switch. Other than that, the machine is quite sturdy and works very well with both thin and thick fabrics, as well as knit. I wholeheartedly recommend this machine.
