The light on my burned out

I would like to know how to replace the burned out light bulb. It didn’t last very long at all. That’s why my rating is 1 star.

Appearances

The sound quality of this radio is excellent. But why is the exterior a wood grain black rather than a shiny black? I thought the exterior would be similar to my Model One. That disappointed me.

Love it! A little difficulty with instructions...

I am very happy with my model Three BT clock radio. The sound quality is good; it is extremely sturdy and attractive. One suggestion that I would make for the developers is that the clock light be a little dimmer or provide a way to control the brightness. I at first found the clock time a little difficult to set and the instructions seemed incomplete to me. I was able to do it by experimenting with the dials and buttons. I haven’t tried setting the alarm yet, but I do believe that those instructions could be improved as well. I am very happy to be done with plastic, digital clock radios that are difficult to set and don’t last very long. Thanks for the delightful product!

Good after a warm-up

When I set the Model 3BT up, it initially couldn't find the correct location of any FM stations. Since we primarily listen to stations in the so-called college band, we were more than a little frustrated. I decided to pack it up and send it back the next day. Before doing that, I checked for problems on the Internet and saw suggestions for rotating the tuning knob multiple times and trying again. So I did. Still nothing. The repack waited several days and I decided to give the radio one more try. Miraculously, the stations were there! Although we are keeping the unit, I don't think that a unit designed for radio reception should need a kludge and a waiting time before it can do the job it was designed for. That's why only 4 stars. I was feeling generous.

This is my second Tivoli radio, the first was an internet Model 1. This is a great audio piece for our bedroom. Sound is super and looks a bit retro cool. The clock is a nice touch.

Our second one!

We love the look of this beautiful radio. I bought the first one as a birthday gift for my partner and he loved it. But it’s been about a dozen years later and the volume button was going out and the wire antenna didn’t bring in stations well. The built in antenna on this version is much better. So for our 30 th anniversary I purchased another one for him and he keeps saying what a thoughtful gift it is. And the phone charging ports come in handy too. Only one downside: it’s not possible to dim the light on the clock. But we still love it.
