Different but not for me

I must start with a disclaimer, I’m a fragrance enthusiast and very picky when it comes to perfumes. I found this original and different from most mainstream formulations. The pitaya definitely gives a tropical vibe, and a very strong one too. A few minutes after spraying the vanilla becomes more noticeable but not the main protagonist. So while I commend Carolina Herrera for trying to make something different, I must say this is not my vibe. It’s too strong, and for this type of ingredients I would have preferred something milder.

Okay perfume

This is a common floral scent. It’s nice but nothing original. Other perfumes smell similar. It has a nice refreshing mood but doesn’t last very long.

Strong floral

I’m conflicted when it comes to this perfume. The performance is great - long lasting and nice projection, but something about the scent just doesn’t work for me. The initial spray is very strong and floral, which I definitely don’t love. As it develops on the skin, the solar floral and fruity notes do come out and bring a brighter summery feel to this perfume. However I just think the peony note is too strong and overpowers the vanilla and dragon fruit, which makes the scent too heavy and sweet for my personal taste. If you are a floral lover you might enjoy this one, but I prefer a floral to be more balanced with fruit or musk notes.

Spring Scent Meant for the Mature

The initial scent is a floral vanilla that I enjoy; however, the peony overpowers the vanilla when dried down on skin & clothes which makes the fragrance smell like it's made for a mature person. I would've enjoyed it more if the peony remained understated and let the vanilla take the lead.
