Don’t be fooled by the outward appearance
So incredibly disappointed with the quality of this bag after being a Hartmann customer for years. The bag looks good from a distance but pretty cheaply made up close. Side strap broke on second use without any stress put on it (when it broke, you could the see the cheap plastic fitting inside the bag). Zippers are wonky and temperamental — I imagine they too will break after moderate use, epically reading other reviews. Unless o just happened to get a lemon, Samsonite should be ashamed of putting this out under the Hartmann name especially at the price point.

Might be a LITTLE large for a carryon…
So far, I love the look, but have not yet traveled with it…upcoming trip will be first chance

Extremely spacious and functional, big enough for all toiletries, plus a change of clothes, which I always like to put in a carryon in case the airline loses my checked bags!!

Really pretty piece of luggage inside and out, but wondering how it will wear since it is no longer Hartman but manufactured by Samsonite.

The zipper broke at the airport on the first time we traveled with this cheaply made suitcase. Hartmann warranty isn’t worth the toilet paper it’s written on. They have 1 warranty claim center in all of Texas, and require YOU to pay the shipping to send them their poorly made product to repair. After 30+ years as a Hartmann customer I won’t be buying their suitcases anymore.

Do Not Buy
I have 3 of the large navy reserve check in spin bags and all 3 are broken! 2 have broken zippers after 1 use and the 3rd lost a wheel after its 3rd trip. I will report back after dealing with repairs and warranty.
